Drexel University has developed a hospitality training program that brings Drexel's faculty, external corporate partners, and industry experts under one custom training initiative to support, train, and upskill individuals seeking careers in the hospitality and food service industry.
The Philly Future Track program provides job-skill training and real-world work experience to Philadelphia young adults. Throughout the six-month program, participants will work in teams to clean and beautify Philadelphia's streets, while completing an educational program to improve their skills for future job prospects.
Graduates who successfully complete the program will be priority on the City Of Philadelphia's Civil Service list. Once employed with the city, first year earnings potential are between $40-$50 thousand a year.
